Job Summary
The IT & Procurement Director is responsible for leading the organization's technology strategy and procurement functions. This leadership role involves overseeing the development and implementation of innovative IT solutions, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing procurement processes to support the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of information technology, supply chain management, and leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy aligned with business goals.
Lead the procurement function, including sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement policy development.
Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and software.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal standards, and cybersecurity requirements.
Manage budgets for IT and procurement, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms.
Lead and develop a high-performing team across IT and procurement departments.
Assess and mitigate risks related to IT security and supply chain disruptions.
Drive innovation by researching emerging technologies and market trends.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology and procurement needs.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in IT leadership and procurement management.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
Extensive knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.
Experience with strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and procurement processes.
Leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze complex issues and develop strategic solutions.
PMP, CIPS, CISSP, or relevant IT and procurement certifications preferred.

Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.
Physical Demands
This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (15% of time).
Working Environment
Remote. This position requires domestic / international travel up to 15%.
