Job description

The LMS Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining DeepHealth’s LMS platform on a day-to-day bases, including the features, content, and end-users. The administrator/specialist ensure the performance of the LMS and often provides technical expertise in support of the system. This role plays a critical function supporting all aspects of the organization, including the Quality Management System, Compliance, Customer Success, and Information Security.  The successful applicant will collaborate closely with all teams within the organization to fulfill DeepHealth’s mission. 

Job requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities   

 

  • User Management: Manage and maintain user accounts, including creating new accounts, updating user information, roles, and permissions.  Provide technical support to users, resolving login issues, navigation challenges, and content access problems 

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including IT, HR, and Learning and Development, to ensure the LMS meets the organization’s needs. 

  • Course Configuration and Management: Work with instructional designers and subject matter experts to set up, upload, and configure learning assets and courses in the LMS. Test new courses and features to ensure smooth operation before deployment. 

  • Content Management: Manage the day-to-day administration of the LMS, including tasks such as updating content, user permissions, and manages, designs, and develops training materials and programs specific to team roles and responsibilities. 

  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze LMS usage data and reports, including identifying areas where improvements can be made, and providing reports to key stakeholders. 

  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end users, such as administrators, instructors and learners, on how to effectively use the LMS and its features.  This may include developing user guides, FAQs, and training materials specific to the LMS. 

  • Staying up to Date: Continuously research and stay up to date with developments in the field of LMS and eLearning, including gathering feedback from trainers and trainees.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience, i.e. Associates Degree with 3 years of experience) 

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in LMS administration and management, including 2 years in a regulated industry, preferably medical device.  Software and/or software as a medical device experience a plus. 

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems/programs (LMS), web delivery tools, and various training methods and materials, including e-learning. 

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and working with IT teams 

  • Proven work experience as a LMS Administrator, LMS Specialist, or similar role 

  • Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and/or ISO 13485   

  • Familiarity with e-learning design tools (Articulate, Captivate, etc.) a plus 

  • Experience with Regulatory Agency audits a plus 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

This position will have the ability to work remotely.
