Job Title: Salesforce Administrator

Reports to: Head of Delivery and Implementation

FLSA Status: Exempt

 

Job Summary

This role is responsible for customizing and managing the Salesforce platform. The role will entail working with stakeholders to define system requirements and to configure the platform to meet business needs. The role will also be responsible for ensuring that users can effectively use the platform by managing user access, data integrity, and security settings.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Creating and managing user accounts, assigning profiles and roles, managing security settings, and ensuring proper access levels. 

  • Customizing Salesforce by creating custom fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, validation rules, and reports to align with business processes. 

  • Maintaining data quality by identifying and resolving duplicates, importing and exporting data, and implementing data cleansing procedures. 

  • Designing and implementing workflows, process builder, and flows to automate repetitive tasks and streamline business processes. 

  • Creating dashboards and reports to provide insights into key performance indicators and business trends. 

  • Providing user training on Salesforce features and functionality, troubleshooting issues, and answering user questions. 

  • Monitoring system health, performing updates and upgrades, and managing data backups. 

  • Gathering business requirements, collaborating with different departments to understand their needs, and translating them into Salesforce configurations. 

  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, updates, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionalities and capabilities

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with different stakeholders

  • Basic understanding of data management practices

  • Ability to create documentation and training materials 

  • 2+ years experience with Salesforce administration or support 

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud 

  • Understanding of Salesforce security models and data management 

  • Basic understanding of API integrations and data migration concepts 

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies 

  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management 

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal 

  • Customer-service oriented mindset 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications related to PACS or healthcare information systems.

  • Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment.

  • Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.

 

Physical Demands

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (~10% of time), drive a vehicle, and utilize other forms of transportation.
