Job Summary

The Senior Sales Operations Specialist plays a central role in driving operational excellence across the commercial organization. This position requires a highly organized, analytical, and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can navigate complex workflows with precision and insight.

 

As a key connector between Sales Operations, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success, this role demands strong coordination skills and critical thinking to ensure data integrity, streamline processes, and support strategic initiatives. The specialist will support the Sales Team primarily through Salesforce, synthesizing data across systems and enabling the team with the tools and insights they need to succeed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate the full contract lifecycle, ensuring accurate Salesforce documentation, seamless handoffs to Services and Finance, and timely updates across related objects (Assets, Contracts, Opportunities).

  • Apply critical thinking to identify data inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that improve forecasting and revenue tracking.

  • Maintain and optimize Sales Operations workflows, including Salesforce data updates, reporting, and cross-functional team support for  pipeline visibility, renewal tracking, and customer engagement.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales operations support, triaging and tracking requests and resolving or escalating issues with speed and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Services and Sales to uphold data integrity and ensure alignment on booking forecasts and revenue conversion.

  • Integrate data from multiple platforms (Salesforce, Marketo, Excel) to produce reliable insights and eliminate duplication.

  • Support lead generation efforts by managing Salesforce campaign data, tracking performance, and ensuring smooth integration between sales and marketing systems.

  • Deliver Salesforce training and documentation to empower the sales team and promote best practices in data hygiene and task management.

  • Manage supplier and partner portals (e.g., GE, AWS), ensuring accurate data flow and operational alignment.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, CRM administration, or commercial support roles.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, with experience in reporting, data management, and user support.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities across cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency with MS Excel and ability to learn other supporting software tools as needed.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) and ERP systems is a plus.

  • Consistently adheres to the time management policies and procedures.

  • Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.

Physical Demands

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
