Systems Engineer
Job Summary
This role will focus on the support of imaging production AI infrastructure which will involve some tooling and scripting for automation. This role offers broad exposure to systems and processes while working with other departments to ensure systems meet business needs. This role helps with designing, maintaining, and improving IT systems and networks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare, perform, and maintain customer installations of our advanced AI medical imaging software, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure
Gather customer requirements and installation environment details for smooth, efficient deployments.
Provide expert technical support to customers and partners, troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the Delivery and Implementation team's workflows, aiming to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience
Be adaptable and available to support customers outside of regular working hours as needed

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, security
Public/private cloud, Kubernetes and container orchestration
Linux shell and shell scripting, Linux tool chain installation, upgrade and maintenance
Experience in docker container deployment and troubleshooting
Familiarity with one or more automation tool stack (Such as Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Jenkins etc)
Troubleshooting and performance tuning in Linux and applications
Knowledge of monitoring platforms (Zabbix, GCP/AWS/Azure observability tool stacks)
Knowledge of project management tool chains such as Jira and source code control via Git
Working knowledge of authentication, and secrets management
Knowledge of VPN and tunnels
Best practices for handling Protected Health Information
Knowledge and experience of API, integration and data pipelines
Capacity planning, for both horizontal and vertical scaling on a platform

Physical Demands
This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (~10% of time).
Working Environment
Remote. This position requires domestic / international travel up to 10%.
